New features should be introduced considering not how easy to add, but how useful for users.
Too many features makes a plugin too complicated to use for many users.
That feature may be useful for you, I don't think it's useful for most users.
And it's not reasonable to add a feature that other plugin provides.
Anyway, test plugins I suggested.
And then describe the details you want to do and you can't do with those pligins.
