I suspect that you have created a repository locally via git init instead of cloning the repository via git clone. So when you try to push something, it collided with what the server already had, which would result in this problem.

I guess it is unintuitive that a fresh Jenkins installation has some commit in this workflowLibs.git. It should probably start out empty. I'm making that change.
