Reproducible if your only Git installation is the default one, which is initialized to git.exe for Path to Git executable if the master runs on Windows. But you can just change it to git. Or switch to JGit. Or use the generic SCM step, which allows you to configure the gitTool to use. In other words, I think this is more a dubious design of the Git plugin, which could also affect freestyle projects, than a bug in Workflow.
