The Semantic Versioning [1] was inexplicably changed from the proper form, x.y.z, to x.y-z by David Tanner. This is a bit annoying as some of us have written scripts assuming proper versioning. I also haven't been able to get any of the updated versions working, but that's a bit of a separate issue. Please keep David Tanner from releasing.
