I have a master UFT script which executes multiple test cases. As the script is executing more then 200 test cases some of them might fail.
I have created custom Junit xml file which will report the passed and failed test cases back to jenkins. This custom Xml is used by Dashboard view plugin also, to create the dashboard of the results.
Because the plugin fails the job, when some of the tests are failing, other plugins like dashboard plugin is not reflecting the junit results on the dash board. Hence the dashboard is only publishing the results if all of the test cases are passed.
It will be very helpful to a lot of people, If you can change the plugin to not fail the build(because they can be part of larger process) or if you can provide a checkbox like "Fail buid if test fails".
