Noticed this seems to be similar to https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-23705, but I am not using EC2 plugin. Also launched an Ubuntu 14.10 AMI and still have the same issue. I also tried CentOS 7 and Amazon Linux and did not have this issue. Seems to just be a problem with running slave on Ubuntu 14.x.
