Still not what you asked, but whatever. You cannot really. There's https://github.com/jenkinsci/jenkins.py but I have never used it. I doubt it's as easy as just pasting a script into the console. Groovy is Jenkins' native scripting. Regarding the issue, there may be an issue related to lazy loading. Unfortunately, the build loading code was rewritten in a major way in 1.597, so whatever happens on older releases isn't that relevant anymore. Could you try updating to Jenkins 1.597 or newer to see whether the problem still occurs there?
