We noticed a substantial slowdown when updating from 2.4.5 to 2.5. Our repo is about 12 GB and when moving from 2.4.5 to 2.5 full checkout times more than doubled on Window and more than tripled on OSX. Reverting back to 2.4.5 restored the previous checkout times.
