I resolved this issue in the following way :

1) I have injected in Jenkins the following environment variables (is a just an example) :

MANIFEST=/home/masia/.jenkins/jobs/EPIC/workspace/VERIF/new/setup/
USERNAME=andrea masi

2) I invoked the following Shell script :
#!bin/sh
./st_repo2.py --manifest ${MANIFEST}/manifest.json -u "${USERNAME}" init
