Daniel Rogers could you open a new bug report rather than attaching a very different stack trace to a previously closed, non-reproducible bug?
If this is a blocking issue for you, you may also want to consider a CloudBees contract. I'm a volunteer and not a Cloudbees employee, so I work on the plugin as time allows. I don't have funds or equipment or time to construct the type of environment which might show your problem.
