So since you mentioned the cygwin issue, I went back to just launching the slave as a webstart slave agent from the administrator account. A traditional SCM job still works fine.
As for the `git.exe`, I see two 32bit processes launched in task manager, presumably this is normal. Except that they never use any CPU. Also, I have already checked out this particular project manually on the machine as well, known_hosts is correct, etc.
Is there a way to get more debug information out of this than simply "timedout after 10 minutes"?
