Issue Type: Bug Bug
Assignee: Unassigned
Components: subversion-plugin
Created: 06/Mar/15 11:55 AM
Description:

Prerequirements:

  • Windows 7, connection with subversion via https (SSL) and server/client certificate (pk12 + crt).
  • Accessing svn via client (e.g. tortoise or sliksvn) and store credentials
  • Create job with SCM-Polling and empty credentials

Observed:
svn-plugin 2.4.5
Works perfect. "Missing" installed Jenkins-credentials are ignored and the system credentials, set by other clients, are used.

svn-plugin 2.5
Does not work.

Expected:
Access to svn gets credentials from system like implemented in plugin version 2.4.5 (and former)

Workaround:
storing credentials additionally in Jenkins-credential-store

We're using multiple Jenkins-installations and the Job-Generator-Plugin and much Groovy scripts to manipulate and create jobs on the fly. So its hard to rewrite all installations and scripts to store, modify and access credentials for different svn's on different machines. Please can you find a way back to former credential handling?

Environment: Windows 7, Jenkins v1.574+, Subversion plugin 2.5
Project: Jenkins
Priority: Major Major
