This has always happened with the code-formatting enabled text boxes (e.g. job description with HTML formatting as well). I think in that update, formatting of these text boxes (which was broken before) was re-enabled, so that would explain the change.
Workaround is to insert escaped line breaks in the script, so this is hardly a major issue.
