I am seeing something similar - but not during building, but rather when the builder is actually idle - for an OSX builder here, but I am told that this is normal...
There is a constant network base-load of about 100-150 kB/s up- and downstream.
Wondering what Jenkins is actually transferring at this rate between master and builder all the time with only short interruptions in between.
