are you on Win 2008 Server R2? Because I am experiencing the same problem like John (sorry for posting a new mail, didn't see this thread). Shutting down the firewall on both machines (Master and slave) did not help on my side. Testing the same was up and running on my desktop with Win 7 64 Bit in 2 minutes. Is it possible to debug this?
