If you have well-named jobs, you can try the role-based plug-in which has regular expressions and may be easier to test/deploy/manage: https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Role+Strategy+Plugin

Folks, We need tom move from a global security configuration to a per/job one. I was wondering if anyone has done this before and can comment on how best to approach it. I need to remove all users from the jenkins central configuration (except for admins) and add the appropriate users to each one of the jobs. I was hopping I could assign permissions by view or to have some kind of batching utility for this changes but I can't find any. Going job by job is too much and too error prone. Has anyone done this before? How did you approach it? Thanks. Erick.
