These are the ways to unsubscribe: Reply to an email from the group with REMOVE ME as the subject of your message. Send an email to [email protected]. For example, if you want to leave the group [email protected], you could remove yourself by sending a blank email to [email protected]. Click the Leave Group button from the My Membership screen for the group. Refer to My Membership settings for further information.
You'll find it with the search term "unsubscribe google group" as the first result. As an answer to Slide: Yes, you can add a footer to all group messages. Maybe a link to the support page (http://support.google.com/groups/bin/answer.py?hl=en&hlrm=de&answer=46608) and the mail address for unsubscribing would be helpful (and wouldn't be too much in my eyes).
