The typical dependencies between jobs are represented in the config.xml files of the jobs.
As an example, one of my jobs includes the following information in config.xml: <hudson.tasks.BuildTrigger> <childProjects>JobA,JobB</childProjects> </hudson.tasks.BuildTrigger> That says the job represented by this config.xml will start JobA and JobB when it completes.
