I use the command line interface with the command "install-plugins" followed by the name of the plugin.
java -jar jenkins-cli.jar http://127.0.0.1:8080/ install-plugins Claim CppCheck Git Findbugs HGCA HTMLPublisher etc. Is that what you're seeking?
