See https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-12983 - please vote on
the issue and it might actually get fixed at some point.

Hi, I could only find a really old post through Google about this, but I
notice that the Master node, when using SVN at least, always checks out
everything even though my project only really builds things on a slave.

For instance, I have a Windows master machine with an OSX project. The OSX
slave builds everything, but for some reason the Master must also check
out the entire OSX build. Is there a workaround for this? Some of these
checkouts are quick sizable and it seems like the master really only needs
to know the last revision that it tried to build and if there are any new
revisions in SVN rather than checking out everything.
