hello All,

I started the security in my jenkins 1.480.2 which i am only beginning to
learn. I enabled the security and chose " Project-based Matrix
Authorization Strategy". In there I made an admingroup and gave all rights
to it. I can use this admingroup user and I am now using jenkins for my
application. Now there is another application team and it also wants to use
jenkins for its application. I made another group and gave administer
rights to it as well. this was needed so that the new team lead can create
it's own jobs as well.

I know I can make project specific permissions for normal users created in
Manage Users section and add them to a project for them to see. BUT the
user that i added in the main Jenkin's configure screen can view all my
jobs and I can view all his jobs. How do I tackle this problem. I want to
give him rights to make a new project/job and configure the jenkins
(adding jdk or ant locations or adding environment variable) but I dont
want him to see my jobs or want me to see his.

How do people solve this issue.

Thanks.

Syed Mahdi
