You should just be able to copy everything from the "jobs" folder on the current master, over to the new "jobs" folder, on your new install. Depending on how much you hold onto, the transfer could take quite a while.
I currently have it set up so that all of my job configs, history, artifacts, etc exist on a dfs, and the Jenkins "jobs" folder is a symlink that points to that dfs location. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eduardo Dias" <[email protected]> To: "jenkinsci-users" <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, June 3, 2013 2:32:00 PM Subject: How to move jenkins data from one Jenkins to another? Hi All, I need to move my Jenkins server from one site to another due a site movement, once the IP/hostname will be new, I would like to install a new Jenkins (newest release) and move the Jenkins data (jobs, history, atrifacts, etc), is it possible?
