If your intent is to execute a command within the context of a view, you need
to use the -exec option to the setview subcommand. Example:
cleartool setview -exec 'run your command here' someExistingView
If you want to use the view that you defined in the "View tag" field, you can
use the variable ${CLEARCASE_VIEWTAG} instead of "someExistingView".

Subject: EXTERNAL: ClearTool on shell
Executing
cleartool setview someexistingview
in an execute shell action on
a Jenkins instance running on a redhat server I get the following in the
console output:
stty: standard input: Invalid argument
.
Other cleartool commands like "lsview" or "pwv" are working fine.
