It works nice for me. build-graph-view plugin seems to show a graph only with downstream jobs of the current project (in plugin's wiki :"This plugin computes a graph of related builds starting from the current one, and render it as a graph."). Maybe you attempt to see a graph on a job that has only upstream jobs ?
