I have a number of Jenkins instance running on systems that generally have all port 80 internet access blocked.
For the Plugin Manager, I've gotten around the problem until recently by setting a "HTTP Proxy Configuration" on the "Advanced" Plugin Manager tab. My IT department recently figured this out . . . they are NOT trying to totally block me, but they do want to limit the set of systems that the "Port 80 crippled" system can talk to. Is the system (or set of systems) for Plugin updates well known? Google didn't find anything interesting . . . If I can just get a list of systems (or IP addresses), IT is willing to enable the hole for me to just those systems. Does that list exist someplace?
