All UI elements that are introduced by Jenkins-plugins can be removed by disabling (or removing) the corresponding plugin. I.e., the maven project type can be removed by disabling the maven plug-in.
Elements that are part of Jenkins core cannot be removed. Also, you can only remove all the options of a plug-in but not only some of them. Which options are confusing? Maybe we can make these options more clear?
