I'm wondering how best to manage dependencies in Jenkins and what documentation is available.
At the moment I can't even answer simple questions like whether dependencies are triggered when all precursor jobs have been run or whether any precursor completing triggers a build. It would also be nice to know if there is anything to prevent loops where job A triggers job B and B triggers A , directly or indirectly. I suspect there is nothing to prevent loops, but I don't know where to find a definitive answer. Is there somewhere I can find answers without asking the group every time? Do I have to buy a book?
