Hi All,
I'm facing a strange problem.. I have configured a job that fails when
running. The strange thing is that it does not fail when I run it from the
shell, with the user jenkins.
The job clones from a git repo and then calls ant for building a war file.
At the moment I have a running variant of the job, that ssh to a windows
machine and successfully executes the build. I am now trying to move this
build to the host of the jenkins server, that is an ubuntu 12.04 lts.
If I start the build from the shell, logged in as the jenkins user (the
user that was created when I apt-get-installed jenkins, and that runs the
service) the build succeeds!
If I build on the jenkins host from the shell as root, it also works. If I
build on any other machine, it always works..
I first thought it could be a problem of Ant, so I tried changing the ant
version that the job is using, from the default one to the 1.9 version, but
nothing changed.
