If you want a stable version, you should probably install the "Long Term Support" release. Currently that is 1.532.3. It is available from http://mirrors.jenkins-ci.org/windows-stable/latest . The Long Term Support tab at http://jenkins-ci.org/ includes links to the various platform versions of the LTS releases.
