Hi We have multiple Win XP 64-bit slaves that we use with our Linux Jenkins master (v.1.565).
Today, one of the slaves is failing to launch. This slave has launched fine in the past. Several error conditions occur: 1) Sometimes, when I click the "Launch slave agent" button, I see: POST is required for hudson.slaves.SlaveComputer.doLaunchSlaveAgent 2) At other times, the Launch does initiate but I see error: Connecting to rsds102 ERROR: Message not found for errorCode: 0x8001FFFF org.jinterop.dcom.common.JIException: Message not found for errorCode: 0x8001FFFF Note: I have checked that registry key LMCompatibilityLevel == 2 I use option "Let Jenkins control this Windows slave as a Windows service" I did upgrade to Jenkins 1.568 (from 1.565) this morning (prior to the fault appearing) but I have reverted to 1.565 and the fault remains.
