Jenkins: 1.565.1 Java: (build 1.6.0_24-b07) OS: CentOS 5.5 2.6.18-194.32 I can run jmx and connect with Jconsole from windows to the jenkins host. But only if I remove --daemon from the run commands and the daemon/user/PID commands from the start arguments.
I'm currently just keeping an ssh session open and keeping the process run as root user from my workstation so I can monitor the java application remotely. (The issue we're experiencing is the one where Jenkins ostensibly continues to run in the background, slaves stay "connected", but the web application is inaccessible.
