I just ran into the same issue and managed to solve this by following the steps describe here <https://github.com/jenkinsci/job-dsl-plugin/wiki/The-Configure-Block> in the section *Reusable Configure Blocks* (just at the very end of the page). > > Extracting this to a Closure ensures that the parameters get evaluated immediately.
