It has something to do with the Interactive Services Detection.
If I go into the registry in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Windows I find NonInteractiveServices and change the setting from 1 to 0, this gives me a message when the GUI is to pop up on the desktop. When I click the ‘view message’ button, I see the GUI for ArcGIS Pro installing. Not sure how, but is there a way to get around this setting, so the GUI just pops up?
