 *Role:- MySQL DBA*

*Location: NY City ,NY*

*Duration:-6+ months*



Responsibilities:

   - Develop and optimize physical and logical design of fault-tolerant
   distributed database systems
   - Proactive administration of production database environment
   - Tuning production databases for better performance and reliability
   - Installation and administration of the corresponding MySQL database
   systems and servers
   - Identifying and fixing bottleneck and reliability problems in live
   environment
   - Estimate database capacities; develop methods for monitoring database
   capacity and usage
   - Develop and support database replication
   - Establish mechanisms for data backup/restore of databases
   - Considering both 'back end' organization of data and 'front end'
   accessibility for users
   - Writing database documentation, including data standards, procedures
   and definitions for the data dictionary
   - Deploying new databases into production
   - Years of professional experienced required: 8+ years of experience as
   a Windows or Linux Systems Administrator, or similar role

Technical Competencies:

   - Very good knowledge of MySQL
   - Knowledge of schema design, stored procedures,
   - Knowledge in optimizing the performance of databases
   - Knowledge of database administration, backups, replication,
   performance reporting
