I am looking for suggestions or ideas on how to store and promote binary artifacts coming out of Jenkins jobs.
I am well aware of Artifactory and Nexus (and have used these before), but have a big issue with these: - For promotion, I'd rather keep a binary in a repo and modify metadata - instead of moving an artifact between repos as means of promotion The folks at http://www.alwaysagileconsulting.com/pipeline-antipattern-artifact-promotion/ describe it much better than I can. Basically, I want to store binaries, and attach/modify metadata as these artifacts get promoted through the pipeline. I don't need fancy component dependency management, binary distribution, etc. Any ideas on existing products or plugins?
