Hi.. I just tried to make two installations on the same Windows (10) machine using the http://mirrors.jenkins-ci.org/windows/latest version. I use this way as it makes it easy to manage the service (stop start install uninstall ).
I have done it several times before where I 'only' came across the 'port', service name and service id is fixed. Can we make this an option in the installer that is then added/updated to the jenkins.xml file? .. But now it is impossible!! :( It looks like it is a change between 1.605 and now 1.629 / 1.630. I cannot make two installation as the second installation only offers to 'Repair' or 'Remove'. I could like detection if a current is installed and provide an option to install an additional instance setting a new app name(jenkins+<version>+<suffix>, directory, port ,service-id and service name.
