In my hardware-testing rig controlled by Jenkins, there's a couple of embedded devices. Their hanging off a peripherals Ethernet connection, so I can ssh into them from the machine running Jenkins.
My question is, how do you guys go ahead and test these kinds of devices? In my setup, I do a cross-compile of the software under test on the main machine, and then call some commands via SSH on my embedded device. What *didn't* work was adding the embedded device as a slave -- I'm assuming the slave manager process can't run on my little SoC. I'm mostly curious of your stories here.
