I know this is unhelpful, but I just wanted to let you know I've run into
the same issue.
I have a very basic Jenkins setup with a fairly complex multi-platform C++
build/package/deploy setup that I've tried to convert to a workflow script.
Everything was going well until I added the freebsd build platform and I
kept having this same problem where the freebsd build will unexpectedly
exist. I just didn't have the time to continue investigating since I have
a basic build pipeline working.
