Hi, As long as you don't restart your Jenkins service you won't use that version of promoted build plugins afaik.
You might need to somehow, before restarting your service: - remove that hpi file and download the previous version manually (http://updates.jenkins-ci.org/download/plugins/promoted-builds/) - then you will be able to restart your service BTW, Jenkins shouldn't override your config files automatically, you are safe as long as you don't apply them via the WebUI.
