I used JBuilder with Jess last year and do remember having some
difficulty getting it to work. The solution I came up with was
to add the Jess package to my project, compile it and then use the
deployment wizard to bundle the whole thing up as a .jar file. I could
then view the applet in the .jar file using IE4 or HotJava. I never got
it to work properly with Netscape 4 but I think that was due to problems
with Netscapes awt compatatbility. I didn't ever manage to get the
applet viewer that comes with JBuilder to work properly with my applet.
Let me know if you find a better way.
