Is anyone aware of any System Dynamics models in
CLIPS (or more importantly, in JESS)?
On another note, I'm looking forward with great
enthusiasm to the backward chaining in JESS 5.0. As a long-time
practitioner of Prolog, I have had success in implementing programs and
processes that lend themselves to this way of thinking. In addition,
having experienced commercial systems that had both forward and backward
chaining was ideal. I thank Dr. Friedman-Hill for creating the simplicity,
elegance, and power of JESS.
JESS works great in IBM's VisualAge for Java
environment! This is just a personal endorsement from
experience.
