>From philosophic point of view I think that to say "modify a slot(s) of the
fact" means to modify only slot(s) and to remain fact self ("core of fact")
unchanged that is contradict to recent behaviour of "modify" function. So,
I support this one and also other changes Dr. Friedman-Hill proposed.
