Thanks for the quick repply. Could you please give me an approximate date to
have a truly serializable Rete object. I am planning to use mobile agents as
well as agent flushing/passivation where the idle ones will be flushed to
sec. storage. However, in this early evaluation stage I can live with the
stationary solution, if the pilot is successful, the serialization will most
certainly be necessary due to the required agent mobility and agent flushing
requirement due to the large number of agents that are planed to be used.

Rete objects aren't truly serializable in any current release of
Jess -- this is expected to be a feature of Jess 6.0 when it is
released, however.
Use bsave to save to a file, send the file, bload the file, and then
run on the other end.
