I'm using rete.executeCommand( "(batch relative/path/to/file.clp)" );
I suppose an absolute path would work too of course. You didn't say which app server you're using, but it seems that WebLogic 4.5 and 5.x provide their own classloader. This classloader doesn't seem to search .jar files for anything other than .class and .properties files, so you'll need to have the .clp file available on the file system.
