That is my belief and intention.
Note that the Rete object is deliiberately detached from things that
may not be Serializable. All I/O routers are detached, and a
deserialized Rete object starts over with the standard set of
routers. Similarly, all JessEvent listeners are disconnected, and you
would need to reattach any that you had attached to the original
object. Everything else is preserved. You're correct in assuming that
any slot values that are not serializable will lead to a serialization
failure.
