This sounds like fun !

I asked my cat (Bubba) what he would do and his response was:

(1) Rename the project to "The Y3K Project for XX" where XX represents the
person who asked
you to do this.
(2) Refactor the intermediate code into three types of models: (1) process,
(2) data, and (3) constraints/rules.
(3) Export these models to an ontology tool where you can finish the
relationship modeling.
(4) Blend the resulting relationships (in each model) into a coherent design
that may be partitioned and layered
to solve the problem.
(5) Integrate the partitioned (and layered) pieces into a system.
(6) Send Bubba a beer.
(7) Realizing that you are now worth your weight in gold - get a raise !

P.S. Bubba said that he is still working on the representation problem.
