Licenses are negotiated on a case by case basis, taking into account
intended use, projected sales, etc. They can be a flat fee, or they
can be royalty-based. Virtually everyone who contacts Craig to work
something out comes away satisfied. Jess is priced very competitively
compared to other commercial rule engines. Note that Jess support is
always free; there is never an additional per-incident cost.
Commercial Jess customers have negotiated a wide range of agreements,
ranging from three to six figures. The most common arrangement
involves a flat fee payment of approximately $5000.
