The install instructions are at

If you have your jess classes in /usr/local/java/lib/Jess52/jess or
c:\java\lib\Jess52\jess for unix, windows respectively. Your classpath
should include /usr/local/java/lib/Jess52 or c:\java\lib\Jess52 for unix,
windows respectively.
