Hi Folks,

The final release of Jess 6.0 is now available for download at

  http://herzberg.ca.sandia.gov/jess/download.html

There were a few bugs fixed between 6.0b3 and 6.0, and there were a
few small usability enhancements, but no major new features. I did not
get to do everything for this release that I wanted to do, but with
the new year approaching it seemed appropriate to finalize Jess 6.0
and start to concentrate on the next release. I apologize to anyone to
whom I promised a 6.0 feature that did not make it in; rest assured
that your feature will appear in Jess 6.1. Some of these promised
features turned out to require a bit more internal upheaval than I
wanted to undertake this late in the release cycle.

New in the manual is a set of release notes (see
http://herzberg.ca.sandia.gov/jess/docs/60/release_notes.html) which
cover porting from Jess 5 to Jess 6, and describe the development
plan for Jess 6.1.

>From the changelog:

defclass and definstance now accept defclass names qualified wih
module names (thanks Juraj Frivolt.) ppdefrule and friends don't throw
if the argument is bad (thanks Mikael Rundqvist.) Release notes and
porting info added to docs. Other small patches.

As always, comments are welcome.
