Dear Sir/Madam,
I'm a total novice in Jess but I'm a keen learner. I've gone through the mailing lists and manuals pages by pages but yet couldn't get the solution. My problem is common and simple and anyone may find it silly to be asked repeatedly. That is, I could not run Jess, so do the examples. I downloaded the binary distribution version 6.0 and played around with the commands in MSDOS, but i still couldn't get the Jess> prompt. Is there anything wrong with the path setting? What should I add to the CLASSPATH? I'm so confused. I'm using Windows ME.
